I am very much delighted to assume office as the Vice Chancellor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur, India.

I welcome you to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur, India the second Ayurved University existing in the world. This University was established by the Govt. of Rajasthan State in the year 2003 with the aim to impart qualitative education, research and treatment in Indian System of Medicines (AYUSH) i.e. Ayurved, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy and to prepare good Physicians, Panchkarma Specialists, Ayurvedic Surgeons, Teachers, Research Scientists, with full confidence for the health of the humanity. Presently for this purpose, the University awards various Doctoral, Post Graduate, Under Graduate Degrees and various Diploma & Certificate courses.

This newly established University is fast heading in the direction to achieve the excellence. It is my earnest desire that this University can play a pivotal role in advancing the education and research in AYUSH systems in the world. This will generate qualitative eduacationists and physicians in the field of AYUSH systems of Medicine. I salute all the eminent personalities and extend my appreciation to the faculty and staff who are engaged in the upliftment of this university through their dedicated work. The scenario of education in Ayurved in India is now in a transformational phase as compared to earlier times. We are in a compelling era where global conditions require that conventional practices have to change and to suit the current requirements and also to address the futuristic needs.

The universities and colleges are facing greater challenges in focusing their priorities in increasing the quantity of service delivery, providing of practically oriented syllabus, promoting total quality management of educational programs, ensuring a valuable campus environment for the faculty and students, increasing value added programs, convergence of technologies, taking the benefits of research and development to the communities in need and many more.

As the Vice Chancellor of this University, I am dedicated to the task of providing an easy and accessible leadership to put management systems in place and to work towards enhancing the infrastructural facilities in the University and in every affiliated college of this University so that they shine as 'Outstanding Units of AYUSH Education' in the world.

I consider myself privileged to 'Lead the Team' with compassion and steadfast commitment towards achieving excellence in all our activities with the support of the faculty members, staff and students.
